9-Euphorbia corollata fruits

The fruits of many Euphorbiaceae is a schizocarp, as seen here in Euphorbia corollata, flowering spurge. The fruits come from a syncarpous gynoecium of 3 carpels, and the undehisced fruit is 3-lobed. Each of the three lobes falls off as a mericarp.
