| Ficus diversifolia. Longitudinal section of syconium — the fertile female flowers are green with a slightly 2-forked style. The pinkish structures are evidently fleshy sepals of the female flowers. Staminate flowers at the top of the syconium. NOTE: Be sure to review the pollination of figs from materials in the laboratory. |
