14-Chionanthus virginicus shrub

[FMP-field: image]

Chionanthus virginicus, white fringe tree, is native to the eastern United States, but does not occur as far west as Illinois. However, a number of shrubs of this species are planted on the University of Illinois campus, such as on the east side of Mumford Hall and to the southeast of the Campus Recreation Center East.
