Asclepiadaceae

14-Stapelia

[FMP-field: image]

Some members of the Asclepiadaceae are succulents, like Stapelia. The flower of this species is quite large, about 6 inches in diameter, and smells of rotting flesh. Hence, it is a carrion flower, pollinated by carrion-seeking flies.
