Asclepias curassavica. One flower with the gynostegium in longitudinal section. Note the gland (corpusculum) and pollinia in the upper left. The corolla tube has been dissected to show the 2 free, superior ovaries, while the top of the gynoecium is connate and then adnate to the androecium to form part of the gynostegium.
