35-Deciduous tree

[FMP-field: image]

A deciduous tree or shrub is a tree in which leaves fall at the end of each growing season; there are no leaves during unfavorable conditions. New leaves are produced in spring.

On the left: a beautiful specimen of Maclura pomifera during summer (note the fruits).

On the right: an alley of trees of the same species at the end of winter. There are still no leaves.
